Colour And Line
For this brief we had been given the task of creating three animations on Adobe After Effects whilst using colour and line. Colour and line are part of the elements of art alongside form, shape, space, texture, and value. For this task the colour wheel played a vital role, as each animation we created had to have a different group of colours (primary colours, complimentary colours and near tone colours).

For my primary colour animation, I decided to go with red and yellow. When told our animations had to consist of circles, I thought this would be a good opportunity to experiment with squash and stretch. The clip below shows my animation for the primary colour task.
For my complimentary colours animation, I decided to go with red and green, for this I done a traditional squash and stretch. When looking for complimentary colours you will always find them opposite one another on the colour wheel, as shown on the left. The clip below shows my complimentary colours animation.

Lastly was my near tone animation, for this I decided to go with three pinkish tones. For this animation I had the lightest tone bounce on top of the background of the two darker tones, this makes you see the lighter tone differently on both backgrounds because of the different tonal shifts. The clip below shows my animation.
